To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce our ONE Design Competition. ONE, Singularly Crafted for You, is our premiere customization program which gives nearly limitless design options. We have over five hundred silhouettes to select from. Then just choose your own finishes, materials and even add your own signature panel to create your own design. You can visualize your design instantly using our website.
The period for submitting designs has closed. We thank everyone for participating! The contest will culminate at our award cocktail party during the April market.
Winners will be decided by a panel of judges and an online general public vote.
The following categories will be judged:
• Best Designer Submission
• Best Dealer Submission
• Best Consumer Submission
• Website Vote Winner
The voting period is now closed. Log in and go to Contest Designs
Entries will be displayed online. Beginning January 4, 2010, there will be a 10 day voting period January 4-13, 2010. During the voting period, the public will be able to vote online for their favorite design entry simply by logging in and going to Contest Designs. Voters will be able to vote with one vote per entry. Submitter's names will be kept anonymous during the voting period.
The winner in each category will have their particular design made and delivered to them at no cost. All winners will be notified in advance and invited to attend an award cocktail party showcasing the winners and their designs during April 2010 Furniture Market in High Point.
Following the award presentation at the April 2010 market, the winners and their designs will be displayed on our website as well as promoted in our newsletter and other various publications.
Any individual, group or business is eligible except employees and family of employees of Maitland-Smith.
All submissions must be created and entered online. No limit is set on the number of entries from any one applicant. All entries must be submitted by midnight of December 16, 2009.
All submitted entries become the property of Maitland-Smith.
