Now, the ONE customization program brings together a diverse palette of more than 100 distinctive design options so you can create one-of-a-kind décor crafted by skilled artisans….that are uniquely and exclusively yours.

Getting Started: Online Custom Design

Whether you want to create a captivating focal point for a room or a special accent piece for a cozy corner or welcoming entrance, with the ONE online customization system, you can easily create artisan-quality personalized décor.

Once you are online and have identified a chair, table or other fine furnishing to customize, you can choose from among an extensive offering of handsome wood and painted finishes, exotic materials, and intricate inlays. Hand-tooled accents, elegant embellishments, and other design alternatives offer you a fine-furniture designer’s palette at your fingertips.

Our online tools allow you to create a personalized product instantly – as you choose each customized element from finish to filigree, you will see your piece virtually “come to life” before your eyes. And for our dealers, with each option chosen, the incremental costs are built automatically, too – so no need to wait for a price quotation except on the most special requests.*

But wait, you don’t have to be a Maitland-Smith dealer to try your hand at our online design studio! Fashion your fantasy, then contact your local dealer or our customer service department for final pricing. It’s as easy as that!

Once you’ve arrived at the ONE site, simply choose a category of customizable décor, perhaps an occasional table. From there, you might choose a specific type of table, such as a console or cocktail table. Now select a specific piece for customization, such as the Leather Trunk Cocktail, item# 3320-220-S.

Items available for customization through ONE have a “customize me” button, which you simply click to get started. The next screen will ask which part of your piece you’d like to customize. With the cocktail table, for instance, you can opt to customize the top panels or frame, base stretcher or legs. You can even add a signature panel to certifiably make the piece your very own!

As you select various options, your customized product image transforms with each change. This feature allows you to easily and quickly mix & match a variety of options and combinations. You might opt to switch the frame upholstery, the shade of the leather straps or the finish on the hardware or nail trim. Choose from dozens of painted wood & leather finishes and sumptuous fabrics. Our hardware finishes include warm bronze, classic brass, weathered verdigris and sleek polished nickel.

Once you have completed your "masterpiece," you will have the opportunity to verify your custom selections before adding the final pièce de résistance to your shopping cart and beginning the order process.
